Our Story

Rebecca Bradley and Melissa Roop are sisters who have always dreamt of opening a tearoom together. Prior to this venture, Melissa worked for 27 years in hospital pharmacy and Rebecca worked for 32 years as an Accountant. Since 2007, they have catered on the side and bonded over their shared love of baking, cooking, and creating memorable experiences for people. Both women are very passionate about suicide prevention, breast cancer awareness, and supporting the local community. They hope to combine their love of tea with their dedication to these causes to create a space that is both welcoming and a positive addition to WNC.

Our Vision

Melissa and Rebecca are very passionate about creating a gathering space in the community that is both safe and inclusive. They have been intentional with sourcing most of the tea room's ingredients and retail items from local/women-owned businesses and artists. They will be hosting regular women-led events at tea room for WNC residents to foster connections and learn new skills. They hope for the community to utilize the space as well for private events such as birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers, etc.
